GOP Senate candidate (and pedophile) Roy Moore might have the support of the President of the United States, but that won’t save him now that the evidence against him is piling up every single day.
Moore has been in hot water ever since the sexual assault allegations against him surfaced a few weeks ago, exposing him for going after and assaulting teenage girls when he was in his thirties. One of his earliest accusers has just come forward with new evidence, and she has the physical proof to back it up.
Debbie Gibson, who is now 54 years old, has stated that she dated Moore when she was 17 (he was 34 at the time) and has brought forth evidence to prove their relationship. The Washington Post reported that Gibson had found a graduation card from Moore while she was recently getting Christmas decorations out of her attic. While getting the decorations, Gibson found her old high school scrapbook, which contained the card from Moore. The card read:
Happy graduation Debbie. I wanted to give you this card myself. I know that you’ll be a success in anything you do. Roy.”
In speaking about their relationship and the card Moore gave her, Gibson had told The Washington Post:
Roy Moore inspires me because he is such a successful man himself. Also, he is about the only person I know of who seriously believes in me. I appreciate that. He’s got to be one of the nicest people I know.”
Gibson also stated that her scrapbook held other evidence of their relationship. On a page titled “The Best Times”, Gibson had written about their first date in 1981:
Wednesday night, 3-4-81. Roy S. Moore and I went out for the first time. We went out to eat at Catfish Cabin in Albertville. I had a great time.”
One of Moore’s other accusers, Beverly Young Nelson, had produced a similar piece of evidence against Moore. Nelson claims that Moore sexually assaulted her when she was only 16 years old, and that he had signed her high school year book.
You can watch Gibson share her evidence below:
Even as all of this evidence surfaces, Moore continues to deny every accusation. POTUS Donald Trump has also thrown his support behind the pedophile (a trait the two men have in common) and recently told the Alabama candidate “Go get ’em, Roy” over the phone earlier today. Trump also marked his support on Twitter, writing “Democrats refusal to give even one vote for massive Tax Cuts is why we need Republican Roy Moore to win in Alabama.”
