Donald Trump….yes, we are going to remind you all what a complete and utter failure he is again. We’re sorry, we’d like to stop talking about him too, but it seems that many of his working-class supporters think he is “just like” them. For whatever reason, possibly because he is an ignorant loudmouth, they believe that a billionaire businessman who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth is just an average guy. However, in 2011, Oprah Winfrey had Trump on her show and what she made him do proved that he is absolutely nothing like them. At all.
During one of his many appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the talk show host decided to put Trump to work — at one of his hotels.
The first job Trump performed was Bellman. The real estate mogul donned a Bellman jacket and as he slipped it on he had the most disgusted look on his face and said,”That’s very interesting.”
His employee, Paul, explained the job description to him,”We do everything from walking dogs to running up groceries to whatever the guests may need. We really never have to say no to a guest.” Trump carried a woman’s luggage out to her car and said that it was the first time he’d carried luggage “in a long time.” I wonder how many of his supporters can say the same?
The billionaire went on to walk a dog and even served some of his guests their room service.
For his last job, Oprah had him go to work with one of his cleaning women, Mia. He helped her make a bed and vacuum the floors, but when it was time to clean the bathroom he was clearly grossed out, saying:
Oh, I’m not into bathrooms, Mia. I don’t know if I could ever do that job. Only sinks, right?
After cleaning the sinks (because helping with the toilets was obviously below him) Trump proclaimed that he like doing that. He said it in exactly the same fake ass way he tells his supporters he loves them.
At the end of his day slumming it, he said:
These are four jobs that I’ve never done before. They’re tough. You have to be sharp, you have to be smart, you have to get along with the people. It’s hard work. Not easy.
The guy whom his fan club members think is just like them has never carried luggage, walked a dog, served a meal or cleaned a fucking sink and he is supposed to be the “every man.” This is how you know the people who support him are out of their damn minds.
He has managed to convince foolish Republican voters that he can relate to them. He has them thinking that he understands their struggles and yet, when he performed all of these jobs he acted like it was fun. Sure carrying ONE bag is fun. Walking ONE dog is okay. Wheeling ONE cart of food up to a room isn’t hard. And cleaning one sink is neat, but these people do these things hundreds of times a week. They do these things for hours on end. They go home and put their sore feet up and relax because they are exhausted…well if they are lucky. Most of them probably have two jobs and don’t get very many breaks. But this guy, who flies around the country in a private jet, can relate to his employees and the “average” man or woman?
Give me a fucking break.
