Often overlooked by many are the consequences of having a Republican president who will modify our Supreme Court. The SCOTUS has the capacity to make huge changes in American society, as we have seen in the past few years regarding the Affordable Care Act, Marriage Equality, and Citizens United.
Now we have another election, and yet another Republican nemesis threatening to roll back progress in exchange for a crueler and more brutal society.
Because nothing is more grave a concern in America than gay people getting married, right? War policy, our lopsided tax policy, student loan debt, gun violence, climate change… NONE of this is more important than two gay people getting married. Right? Idiots…
Trump told Chris Wallace, “They have ruled on it. I wish it was done by the states.” When asked if he would appoint judges that he KNEW would overturn it, he responded, “I would strongly consider that, yes.”
This is exactly why we can’t afford another Republican (let alone a TRUMP) presidency. These people are offering nothing but to take away from the society we built, with the promise that if we only hate each other enough, it will somehow create jobs. They are freaking ridiculous. Don’t stay home in November, regardless of who might be the Democratic nominee. America needs our vote.

Christian is from a small town, surrounded by other small towns, in Pennsylvania. He nearly slipped into the conservative K-hole after high school, but was redeemed by Liberal politics and 8 years of Bush. After spending far too long working for corporate America, he has settled back into life as an unapologetic progressive and general caller-out of conservative fallacy and nonsense.
