During the House Judiciary Committee’s pseudo-interrogation of Jeff Sessions, where Republicans asked him about everything but his perjury, and Democrats grilled him on his perjury, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), who we already knew was a complete moron, used an intriguing visual aid when talking about Obama, Hillary, and the Uranium One Deal.
It looks a little like a flow chart, and a little like he tossed a pile of children’s wood blocks onto a piece of poster board and then randomly connected them with string and called it a chart. He apparently argued that it demonstrated the conflicts of interest for Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein and what hardline Trumpkins want to see regarding the Uranium One deal:
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Here, care of Rep. Louie Gohmert’s office, is the full chart he displayed at today’s House Judiciary Committee oversight hearing. pic.twitter.com/dPSHtGvwqK

As people on Twitter have pointed out, there are Obama officials that appear on the chart twice, including Obama himself. They also made other connections and pointed out other issues with the chart, just tearing Gohmert a new one for putting his stupidity into a visual aid:
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m seeing a line going from one “Obama” bubble to another “Obama” bubble. pic.twitter.com/B5OIgabkVZ

If Obama did in fact meet with Obama – this changes everything.

This chart clearly shows that there were people, places, and things that can be connected by the drawing of line segments between them. https://t.co/MKfKFMdiW2

How do the HILLARY CLINTON EMAILS not connect to the HILLARY CLINTON SECRET SERVER? They apparently had to be transmitted by Loretta Lynch personally.

Gohmert’s slipping. He didn’t include the ‘Globalists’. How can you propose an international conspiracy without including the Globalists?
Didn’t he read his ‘InfoWars: How To Start A Conspiracy’ packet?

It’s on the back, above where Gohmert’s 8yo signed the chart.

At last, the connection between Mueller and himself is clear, and of course, it runs straight through Hillary Clinton’s Secret Server!

The longer you stare at this chart, the more questions you have, and the better it gets. https://t.co/eXb6bBtBTR

(Ben Rhodes is a former Obama administration official.)
Vox picked it up and pointed out all the questions in one paragraph, then called the chart hilarious:
It’s not clear why ‘Hillary Clinton Emails’ and ‘Hillary Clinton Secret Server’ are different things, or why they’re not connected. It’s not clear why the words ‘Obama’ and ‘Mueller’ are on there twice, or why the first mention isn’t connected to the second. It’s not clear why Bill and Hillary Clinton, who are right next to each other, are not connected by any sort of line (green, dotted, or otherwise).”
And the Washington Post tore into it too, asking a series of questions about the inconsistencies in the chart and also saying that it was unnecessarily complicated.
In other words, while Gohmert no doubt felt he had a smoking gun in this chart, all anybody with any sense could see was gibberish. Hilarious gibberish.
