If there’s one thing that might be the most annoying trait of mansplainers everywhere, it’s when they tell a woman they should smile more. Which is exactly what RNC Chair Reince Priebus did to Hillary Clinton after the NBC Presidential Forum on veteran issues Wednesday night.
Hillary Clinton was angry and defensive the entire time – no smile and uncomfortable – upset that she was caught wrongly sending our secrets.”

When asked about Priebus’ comments about her the next day during a press conference, Hillary had this to say:
I don’t take my advice and I don’t take anything seriously that comes from the RNC. We were talking about serious issues last night. I know the difference between what we have to do to fix the VA, what we have to do to take the fight to ISIS, then just making political happy talk. And I had a very short window of time in that event last night to convey the seriousness in which I would approach the issues that concern our country.”
Adding this brilliant jab at Donald Trump and the RNC:
Donald Trump chose to talk about his deep admiration and support for Vladimir Putin. Maybe he did it with a smile and I guess the RNC would’ve liked that.”
If there were a mic to be dropped it would have hit the floor with a thunderous boom.
As Hillary talks about the issues, Trump is cozying up to a person that is absolutely no ally of ours. Talking about veteran issues isn’t exactly smile worthy, maybe Priebus thinks it is.
