Josh Duggar may be returning to television to join his sisters Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar for the second season of their show Jill & Jessa: Counting On, according to InTouch. But, the former reality show star remains unrepentant over revelations that he molested at least five minors, including his sisters.
“Josh will appear on the next season of his sisters’ series,” a source told InTouch. “The plan is for him to address everything he’s done. What he has to say will be ratings gold, and TLC — and the Duggars — know it.”
Last year, the child-diddler said that God had forgiven him then he resigned from the Family Research Council. This year, Duggar is blaming “external forces” for his “behavior.”
While marketing his evangelical family for television to tout Christian virtues, Jim Bob Duggar covered up his son’s crimes. It’s all about money, apparently.
Raw Story reports:
The prolific evangelical family is hurting for money, despite their occasional and flagrant abuse of free-food giveaways at fast-food joints, so they’re at least considering cashing in their eldest son’s molestation and adultery scandals for TV ratings.
After it was revealed that Josh Duggar molested minors as a teenager, he entered a Christian rehabilitation center, Basic Life Principles Training Center. However, that “rehab” has quite a dubious past, too, and in fact, it has ties to Hobby Lobby.
Josh also admitted to extramarital affairs after the Ashley Madison site was hacked revealing his accounts on the adultery website.
“Josh will cover everything and he will maintain the family line that God has saved his soul and guided him back to the right path,” the source told InTouch. “But one thing you probably won’t hear is that he’s actually sorry, as he believes that external forces were to blame for his behavior.” So he’s saying the Devil made him do it.
Not taking personal responsibility seems to run in the Duggar family. In 2014, Jim Bob Duggar told Megyn Kelly that Josh, “was just curious about girls, and he had gone in and just basically touched them over their clothes while they were sleeping. They didn’t even know he had done it. And so we went, and the first thing was to protect the girls.”
So according to the patriarch of the family, it’s OK to touch little girls as long as they aren’t conscious. Just to be clear, the Duggars are “pro-life” and anti-LGBT.
Let us hang our heads in prayer. Dear Lord, please protect us from your followers. Amen.
