What do you do if someone doesn’t like your candidate? Threaten to kill their entire family, of course. That’s exactly what a man from Georgia did on Facebook. Jason Kauti of North Fulton is due in court this week to face felony charges related to a comment he made on the behemoth social site after a Hillary Clinton supporter called Donald Trump a racist.
Trump supporters are such delicate little flowers.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports:
An Alpharetta woman, who asked not to be named, filed a complaint July 23 with police after a political debate online got personal. It started when she commented on a friend’s post, calling Trump a racist. Her comment “received a lot of feedback,” according to the complaint.
“If we ever cross paths I will kill you and your family,” Kauti responded on Facebook.
The Trump supporter was arrested after posting the death threat, Milton police spokesman Lt. Charles Barstow said.
“They were having an argument and unfortunately the dialogue turned into threats, some very serious threats,” Barstow told WSB-TV.
The AJC notes that as of Tuesday, Facebook posts made by Kauti show him holding a handgun with an expletive comment “suck it…” under a profile picture of the University of Miami Hurricanes football logo. We’re not seeing that now, though, so he’s obviously removed it.
As a shock to no one ever, Kauti has been in trouble before. According to Fulton County Jail records, Kauti was booked July 24 on charges of felony terroristic threat making, erratic lane change and driving under the influence of alcohol. A man with his violent history and most recent charges is armed and drinks.
Kauti is due in court for a preliminary hearing Friday. He seems really nice, don’t you think? By the way, Mr. Kauti, Donald Trump is a racist. There, we said it.
Anti-politically correct conservatives sure do get offended easily.
