Donald Trump said on Sunday that he hasn’t learned a damn thing during his first 100 days as President of the United States.
During an interview with Face The Nation on Sunday, CBS’ John Dickerson asked Trump what he knows now that he wishes he had known when he took office. Trump struggled to come up with something, and finally went with his gold standard response: the media is dishonest. (Because he clearly wasn’t making this baseless accusation during the campaign, right? Insert sarcasm here.)
According to Trump, he’s done wonderful things (even though he’s accomplished nothing) but the big mean media just won’t say good things about him.
Dickerson stared at Trump in disbelief before asking him if that was really all he had learned after spending 100 days as the leader of the free world. “Surely, you’ve learned something else other than that the media is dishonest,” Dickerson said.
When Dickerson continued to press Trump to come up with something that he had learned, backing him into a corner, Trump eventually started whining that there are too many “unfair” rules slowing down all the great things he wants to do.
Trump also had to add that Democrats are obstructing him. And for good measure, he threw in that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is a “bad leader.” Because of course, he did.
