Donald Trump wants so badly to convince everyone that the White House isn’t experiencing utter chaos at this moment in time, but he’s failing miserably. Thanks to his administration’s latest shakeup, things are looking less stable than ever – and he only has himself to thank.
Just ten days after appointing Anthony Scaramucci as the White House’s new communications director – a decision that caused White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer to resign – Scaramucci has been fired. While Scaramucci absolutely sucked at his new role and quickly became one of the most hated members of Trump’s team, everyone has been shocked at how short his stint was with Trump. However, the reason Trump gave why Scaramucci got the boot will raise even more eyebrows.
At a press briefing today, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the departure of Scaramucci and gave some insight into what had happened. When reporters asked Huckabee Sanders if Scaramucci was going to be handling a different role in the White House, Huckabee Sanders replied, “He does not have a role at this time.” Then, she told everyone why Trump fired Scaramucci in the first place. Here’s the real kicker:
“The President certainly felt that Anthony’s comments were inappropriate for a person in that position.”
We can absolutely agree that Scaramucci was horrible and a further embarrassment to the country. However, how can Trump recognize how inappropriate Scaramucci’s behavior and comments were without considering the disgusting and humiliating nature of his own? It is ridiculously ironic that Trump would fire Scaramucci over this because the majority of Americans feel the same exact way about Trump and his role in the White House. If only it were this easy to fire The Donald, because America would have done that a LONG time ago!
