Our country’s obese so-called president is adverse to exercise and that shows, according to his weight and heart condition, despite what Dr. Ronny Jackson says. The White House doctor bizarrely claims that the former reality show, who gorges himself with Big Macs, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and pizza, is in ‘excellent health’ but he did admit that Donald Trump needs to exercise more. Apparently, Trump disagrees with the good doctor because he feels he gets a lot of exercise because he golfs, even though he repeatedly disparaged former President Barack Obama for golfing and he’s outpacing his predecessor in playing that sport. It’s worth noting that Obama worked out in the mornings before going to work each day.
Trump told Reuters on Wednesday that he gets plenty of exercise on the golf course and at the White House complex.
“I get exercise. I mean I walk, I this, I that,” the 71-year-old said during an Oval Office interview. “I run over to a building next door. I get more exercise than people think.”
Trump thinks he’s more physically fit than people nearly 20-years younger than him.
“A lot of people go to the gym and they’ll work out for two hours and all. I’ve seen people … then they get their new knees when they’re 55 years old and they get their new hips and they do all those things,” Trump said. “I don’t have those problems.”
Trump did admit that he is open to changing his diet, perhaps with smaller portion sizes on White House meals.
Trump’s predecessors, Democrat Barack Obama and Republican George W. Bush, were fitness enthusiasts, but Trump has no daily workout routine. He gets exercise by playing golf, he said, even though he typically rides around the course in a golf cart.
According to Trump, he uses a golf cart because walking around would leave him on the course longer than he prefers. “I don’t want to spend the time,” said the man who has taken more time off than any of his predecessors.
Dr. Jackson also said in the press briefing that he “told the president that if he had a healthier diet over the last 20 years, he might live to be 200 years old” and that’s totally believable because of all the 200-year-olds we see walking around.
In May last year, as world leaders took a walk together in Taormina, Sicily during the Group of 7 (G7) summit, Trump chose to ride in a golf cart.
Exercise doesn’t mean what Trump thinks it means.
