Donald Trump is still whining about the innocence of his campaign, even as more and more evidence piles up to prove the exact opposite. A major bombshell about the Trump campaign has just been released, and Trump is going to have a hell of a time trying to defend this one.
Thanks to uncovered documents, one of Trump’s transition advisors, K.T. McFarland, was caught stating in an email just weeks before his inauguration that Russia has “just thrown the U.S. election to him.” McFarland made this comment during a conversation about how the sanctions imposed on Russia by former President Barack Obama would make it harder to ease relations with Russia – especially when the country had done the Trump campaign such a big favor.
The New York Times obtained McFarland’s emails, in which the Trump advisor had written to current homeland security advisor Thomas P. Bossert:
If there is a tit-for-tat escalation Trump will have difficulty improving relations with Russia, which has just thrown U.S.A. election to him.”
Bossert had then forwarded that email to Trump’s future inner circle – Michael Flynn, Reince Priebus, Stephen Bannon, and Sean Spicer. Bossert told transition officials to “defend election legitimacy now.”
In response to the revealed emails, the White House has tried to sweep this discovery under the rug (as usual) and pathetically insisted that McFarland’s email was expressing the Democrat’s opinion, not her own.
As more information surfaces, Trump and his team are having a much harder time justifying and hiding their corrupt actions. This past week was absolutely brutal for the Trump administration, and we can expect that far more will come to light as Mueller closes in on Trump’s White House. Things are not looking good for Trump at all, and now he knows it.
