Donald Trump may think he’ll be able to follow President Barack Obama’s legacy and serve two terms, but a quick look through social media shows that his team might think differently.
Yesterday, the verified Twitter account for Trump’s Inauguration posted a truly bizarre tweet when it paid tribute to the late President William Henry Harrison – the shortest serving President America has ever had. Harrison only served as President for a total of 32 days – which may actually be a little bit longer than Trump’s own presidency will last.
Here’s the strange tweet in all of its glory:
The tweet announces the fact that Harrison barely lasted a full month in office, but leaves out the fact that it was because he had passed away – the first President to do so. This celebration of Harrison from Trump’s Inauguration team seems highly inappropriate, but maybe they’re trying to tell us something.
Trump’s team may very well be making a prediction about Trump’s own term, as there have been several experts suggesting that Trump could be impeached immediately for his various Constitutional violations and conflicts of interests – all of which he absolutely refuses to sort out.
If Trump continues on the path that he is going – refusing to take advice and sort out his business entanglements – he might find himself breaking Harrison’s record after all. Many Americans would agree that an impeachment of Trump would be the best case scenario for the future of the country, as the President-elect continues to flirt with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and recklessly tweet about nuclear weapons.
We can only hope that Trump’s term is as short as possible. He is the most unqualified, least deserving incoming President we’ve ever been faced with. If he is given more time to screw things up, he could be America’s last President.
