Former Republican congressman Joe Walsh made an absolute ass of himself on live television Friday night and CNN host Don Lemon nailed him to the wall.
As you may recall, Walsh threatened President Obama and called for a race war in a horrific tweet sent out as police officers were being killed in Dallas.
“3 Dallas cops killed, 7 wounded,” Walsh wrote. This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming after you.”
Walsh’s series of tweets blamed Black Lives Matter and President Obama for the killings even though the shooter was unaffiliated with Black Lives Matter.
Also, President Obama has repeatedly made it clear that he does not condone violence against the police even though he is deeply concerned about the shooting deaths of black men by police in Minnesota and Louisiana earlier this week.
“If communities are mistrustful of the police, that makes those law enforcement officers who are doing a great job and are doing the right thing, it makes their lives harder,” Obama said. “So when people say “Black Lives Matter,” that doesn’t mean blue lives don’t matter; it just means all lives matter, but right now the big concern is the fact that the data shows black folks are more vulnerable to these kinds of incidents.”
In no way has President Obama ever referred to police as “racists” or called for killing them. But Joe Walsh blamed President Obama when questioned by Don Lemon about why he posted the tweet.
“Because I’m pissed off, a lot of Americans are pissed off, and a lot of police officers around the country are upset because there really is a war on our cops and a lot of police officers believe that it started with Barack Obama,” Walsh said.
Walsh accused President Obama of calling cops “bad and racist,” which prompted Lemon to interrupt and ask the deadbeat dad to prove it.
Walsh claimed that President Obama did this in statements about the Ferguson protests when he correctly pointed out that there is systemic racism in this country and that there are some police departments that need to be reformed. Lemon pointed that out, but Walsh refused to acknowledge any facts. He only believed the racist voices in his head and claimed that President Obama has called police “racist” every time a black person is wrongly killed by police.
Lemon once again noted that President Obama has never once called police “racist.”
“Those words never came out of his mouth,” Lemon said before asking Walsh for proof once again.
And once again, Walsh only proved that he is a racist who has never actually listened to any of President Obama’s remarks on these tragedies.
Lemon then asked Walsh why he doesn’t like President Obama. Referring to himself as “objective” Walsh accused President Obama of not liking America or our troops and police officers. Lemon called out Walsh again, who then went on to declare that he only deleted the vile tweet because Twitter forced him to do so. That means Walsh still stands by his words. Walsh claimed that he didn’t mean to incite violence against President Obama and explained that “real America” respects cops.
That’s when Lemon dropped the hammer on Walsh.
“What if I said to you that real Americans respect the office of the Presidency and the person who is holding the office?”
In short, Walsh demonstrated with his pathetic response that he is not a real American.

Again, President Obama has never called the police “racist.” He has merely acknowledged that systemic racism exists in some police departments, but he has always supported the police. Joe Walsh cannot sit there and say that his tweet did not incite violence because he openly declared war on President Obama and Black Lives Matter in the post. The Secret Service should be knocking on his door right now.
Joe Walsh hates President Obama because he is black, period. And it doesn’t matter what President Obama actually says because racist Joe Walsh will always misinterpret what he says or pretend he said something else entirely so he can justify his bigoted and hateful worldview.
