Brian Stelter and CNN sure know how to get under Sean Hannity’s thin skin.
The Fox News host is still throwing a temper tantrum over Stelter calling him out for not challenging Trump’s false claim that the election is rigged in favor of Hillary Clinton.
“Hannity’s not a journalist, but he has a megaphone, and he’s using his megaphone irresponsibly,” Stelter said on his show last week.
If a Democratic candidate were saying this stuff––saying the election could be rigged––then every word of this essay would apply to him or her. But right now, it’s the Republican candidate for president who’s trying to delegitimize our democratic process without proof. It is unpatriotic for any interviewer or any journalist to help him.
Hannity threw a temper tantrum on Twitter in response and could only muster a single newspaper report as “proof” that the entire election is “rigged,” and that was debunked because the article itself explained why Republicans did not receive any votes in 59 Philadelphia districts in 2012.
Stelter continued blasting Hannity on Sunday for speculating on Hillary Clinton’s health based on a video of her outside a muffin shop acting playful while being pulled around. Hannity seems to think she was having a seizure, something that even Newsweek writer Kurt Eichenwald slammed him for because it was insulting to epileptics.
Calling Hannity “reckless,” Stelter added, “Last time I checked. Fox still has the word ‘news’ in its name.”
Well, Hannity decided to lash out on Fox & Friends on Tuesday morning by literally pulling a Donald Trump by calling into the show to bitch and moan and accused the media of being “in the tank” for Hillary.
“There’s a double standard in everything,” Hannity whined. “Donald Trump, Mike Pence said to me the other night that they’re playing two-on-one. The media is so in the tank, so onboard for Hillary, they’re abusively biased.”
Then Hannity addressed Stelter directly by once again emulating his idol Donald Trump by calling him names and using foul language on the air.
I literally watched a show on CNN over the weekend and you got this little pipsqueak named Brian Stelter. And he allowed this arrogant professor from the Kennedy School of Journalism to talk about Trump being a demagogue and demagogues like Trump become dictators. That’s the type of coverage that CNN offers in this presidential race as they literally kiss Hillary’s ass and Obama’s ass every day.

Once again, Hannity cites a lone segment and guest on CNN as proof of his claims while conveniently ignoring all of the other coverage throughout the day in which CNN has reported on the troubles of Hillary’s campaign, including her emails and ties to the Clinton Foundation. Apparently, Hannity expects CNN to cover Hillary’s problems nonstop while ignoring all of the outrageous things Trump has said and done.
Sean Hannity does not belong on the airwaves, either on radio or television. He’s a dangerous propagandist who will sink to any low if it means hurting Democrats and giving his preferred candidate an edge. In fact, Hannity is part of the reason why Donald Trump and his conservative supporters deny facts.
The bottom line is that Hannity is a hothead who shouldn’t be allowed to ever step foot within any company that has “news” as part of its name.
