Ivanka Trump is complicit in many things regarding her father’s alleged presidency. For one, nepotism and for another, her father’s disregard for women’s rights and empowerment. There are many quotes we could list in which Trump has attacked women and even though the leaked Hollywood Access video features the former reality show star bragging about sexually assaulting women, Ivanka has stood by his side without regard for her gender.
The amateur president’s daughter went to Berlin on Tuesday to represent the U.S. in a panel at the W20 Summit, an international convention which is dedicated to the “economic empowerment of women,” ThinkProgress reports.
The moderator of the panel asked Ivanka what her role in the White House is.
Moderator gets to it! “The Germans are not that familiar with the concept of a first daughter. What is your role?”

It’s gotten so bad with Trump’s mounting conflicts of interest that clarification is needed.
“Whom are you representing?” the moderator asked as the audience started laughing. “Your father as the president of the United States, the American people, or your business?”
Ivanka said, “certainly not the latter.”
“I am rather unfamiliar with this role as well as it is quite new to me,” Ivanka Trump continued. “As an entrepreneur and an individual prior to this in the private sector, I cared very much about empowering women in the workplace. And the opportunity to have an elevated platform, to be able to sit here on this stage — and thank you chancellor for your very gracious invitation — I am humbled to be here with so many formidable leaders, to engage in dialogue, to learn, to bring the advice, the knowledge back to the United States, back to both my father, and the president, and hopefully that will bring about incremental positive change, and that is my goal.”
Yay, she knows big words! The only problem here is that they are empty words.
Ivanka Trump went on to say that her father is “a tremendous champion of supporting families” and that statement provoked groans from the audience.
Like father, like daughter.
Ivanka, like her father, went on to blame the media for the negative coverage the alleged president has received.
“I certainly heard the criticism from the media, and that’s been perpetuated, but I know from personal experience, and I think the thousands of people who have worked with and for my father for decades when he was in the private sector are a testament to his belief and solid conviction in the potential of women and their ability to do the job as well as any man.”
The audience was not going to allow the media to be blamed for her father’s well-documented disregard for women.

Ivanka was asked about the response from the mostly female crowd:
On mostly female crowd in Berlin booing when she called her dad a champion for women, Ivanka said: “Politics is politics, as I’m learning.”

Like we said, like father, like daughter. Ivanka Trump is not a champion of women. She’s just a rich woman who is taking orders from her Dad in order to secure a powerful spot in his administration. Otherwise, Ivanka would have called out her father numerous times.
