Hillary Clinton wrote a book, so conservatives are naturally throwing a hissy fit.
Whether or not you like Hillary Rodham Clinton, or Donald J. Trump, doesn’t matter. There is only one person you can vote for. We cannot have a country led by a president subject to ongoing criminal investigations, potential indictment, and never ending hearings. We cannot have a president under that level of scrutiny that inevitably leads to even more questions and more investigations.”
That’s what Fox News host Jeanine Pirro said during the 2016 Election to justify voting against Hillary Clinton. Of course, that monologue has spectacularly backfired since then because Donald Trump is currently embroiled in federal investigations that are only digging deeper and are getting worse for him and his team every day.
On Saturday, Pirro attacked Hillary yet again with another monologue aimed at her new book explaining what happened during the campaign.
“What happened? You lost, he won, Karma’s a bitch,” Pirro said. “You lost because people don’t like you. They don’t trust you. You’re arrogant and condescending. You call them names like deplorable, and you have the moral core of a jellyfish.”
After once again whining about Benghazi, the Clinton Foundation, and emails, Pirro called for Trump’s Justice Department to start another witch hunt.
“Hillary should not get a free pass because she lost an election,” Pirro said. “It’s time to stop this psychopath from continuing her nonstop stream of lies and criminal activity.”
Here’s the video via YouTube.
Basically, Pirro just demanded that the federal government strip Hillary of her right to free speech.
But, once again, Pirro’s monologue is full of hypocrisy and falsehoods.
First of all, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes. So the American people clearly liked Hillary Clinton more than they liked Donald Trump.
As far as trust is concerned, a poll in March found that people trust Hillary more than Trump. It’s a ten point margin, too.
And Pirro really shouldn’t accuse Hillary of being “arrogant and condescending” considering Trump displays both of those personality traits on a daily basis. Also, Trump does NOT have a “moral core” at all. That much is clear considering he didn’t even bother to visit with storm victims the first time he traveled to Texas after Hurricane Harvey. He couldn’t even get his do-over trip right because he decided to attack the media and brag about the size of his hands.
Let’s talk about Benghazi, the Clinton Foundation, and Hillary’s emails. Clinton was cleared by Congress after countless partisan investigations. The FBI cleared Clinton on her emails. And there was no evidence of pay-for-play by the Clinton Foundation. The fact that Trump is declining to “lock her up” makes it clear that there have been no crimes committed to justify jailing her.
The Trump Foundation, meanwhile, has been and is currently under investigation by federal and state authorities.
And finally, let’s talk about “criminal activity.”
In 2000, Pirro’s husband was convicted of federal tax evasion and conspiracy of over $1 million. Perhaps that investigation should be reopened to ascertain whether Pirro had knowledge of this and helped him commit his crimes.
Pirro was also under federal investigation in 2006 for illegally wiretapping her husband’s conversations in an effort to catch him cheating on her. Perhaps that investigation should be reopened as well.
Clearly, Jeanine Pirro is the one who should stop talking. Because every time she opens her mouth her words come back to bite her in the ass.
