Man, it would be really inconvenient amid our nation’s growing racial strife under Donald Trump if a police officer was caught on camera admitting that they target African-Americans for death simply because of their skin color…wouldn’t it?
Because we are apparently living in the Twilight Zone, on Earth-2, or in a really evil computer simulation, that’s exactly what happened when a Cobb County, Georgia cop was busted reassuring a scared white woman that she was safe from him.
“Remember, we only kill black people,” the officer said, responding to the woman’s fear that if she took her hands off the steering wheel she would be shot. “We only kill black people, right?”
Cobb County police Chief Mike Register told Channel 2 Investigative Reporter Mark Winne that the officer has been placed on paid vacation (administrative leave) while they perform the usual show of pretending to investigate before ultimately sweeping it all under the rug. “No matter what context it was said, it shouldn’t have been said,” Register says. It’s worth noting that he didn’t actually condemn the statement or say it was the least bit inaccurate.
“We’re not making excuses,” said Register, who attempted to make excuses by explaining that the officer, who has not been named because we protect racists in the country, has a good record and no racial bias complaints he’s aware of. “We’re meeting this head-on and we’re going to deal with it.”
History says that they will not actually be dealing with it.

John Prager is an unfortunate Liberal soul who lives uncomfortably in the middle of a Conservative hellscape.
Prager spends much of his time poking Trump’s meth-addled, uneducated fans with a pointy stick and is currently writing a book of muskrat recipes (not really) as well as putting together a scrapbook of his favorite death threats. His life’s aspiration is to rule the world with an iron fist, or find that sock he’s been looking for.
